Self Portraits

For the school art exhibition we created self-portraits.  We talked about the different parts of the face and what shapes they were.  Students step-by-step drew the different facial features.

Next we used the photocopier to enlarge the pictures.  Students then used black vivid to outline their work before using coloured dyes and cotton buds to colour in their masterpieces.

To make our self-portraits look a little bit different students then created a butterfly using overhead transparencies and different coloured vivid markers.
